Telkomsel PraBayar - Telkomsel Prepaid Services

• The active period of a card is the validity period of using Telkomsel's services on a prepaid number. When your card/number is active, you can access the internet, make phone calls, and send SMS. When the active period ends then your card is in the grace period.
• The grace period is 30 days after the active period ends if there is no activity like credit top-ups or package purchases on a prepaid number. During the grace period, you can’t access the internet, make phone calls, or send SMS. When the grace period ends, the number, package, and credit will be expired and cannot be used even if you have a lot of remaining quota or balance.
• The validity period is the time when the package quota can be used. Each package you buy has a validity period, for example 1 day, 3 days, 7 days or 30 days. Your package quota cannot be used if the validity period has expired.

You can manage the active period of your Telkomsel PraBayar card with the following 6 ways:

1. Credit top-up
   Credit top-up can extend the card's active period according to the top-up amount with a maximum of 365 days. The active period will accumulate with a maximum of 365 days since the credit balance top-up. 
2. Package purchase (internet, combo, voice, SMS)
   • Purchasing a package extends the card’s active period, based on the validity period of the package.
   • Purchasing a package in the grace period changes the card’s status to active and adds the active period according to the package's validity period.
   • Purchasing a package does not extend the card’s active period cumulatively, the active period is based on the longest package validity period.
3. Receive a package gift (internet, combo, voice, SMS)
   • Receiving a data package extends the card’s active period, based on the validity period of the package.
   • Receiving a data package in the grace period changes the card’s status to active and adds the active period according to the package's validity period.
   • Receiving a data package does not extend the card’s active period cumulatively, the active period is based on the longest package validity period.
4. Usage

   If the customer does not top up or purchase a package, then the final evaluation carried out at the end of the active period is whether the customer has reached the minimum amount of credit usage. Purchasing a package or using credit in the form of telephone, SMS, and internet with a minimum rate of Rp1 using credit with a minimum usage of Rp1 will automatically extend the card's active period for 30 days starting from the end of the active period. 

5. Extension package purchase

   Purchasing an extension package extends the card’s active period cumulatively by a maximum of 365 days. See more details about available extension packages here. 

6. Make sure that your Telkomsel PraBayar (prepaid) card is always active. If the card is not connected for 90 consecutive days, Telkomsel is entitled to deactivate your Telkomsel PraBayar service.

Your card/number will enter a grace period of 30 days. To return your card to its active period and enjoy Telkomsel services and avoid burning the card and number, please top up your credit or buy a data package.

The blocking period is when your Telkomsel PreBayar number has exceeded the last day of the grace period. When you do not top up your credit balance or purchase a package during the grace period, so your number exceeds the last day of the grace period, then your number is blocked. During the blocking period, you cannot make or receive calls or SMS and cannot access the internet.

When your number is blocked, you can unblock it by following these steps:

• Dial *888*89# using your blocked number.
• You will see the information that your number has been blocked and two options in "1. Buka Blokir" and "2. SKB".
• Select "1. Unblock" if you agree to unblock and you agree to the terms stated in the “SKB” (Terms and Conditions).

To unblock, there are terms and conditions that apply where:

• Balance, Telkomsel Poin, Internet, SMS, and Voice Quota will be forfeited.
• The basic tariff will change according to the latest applicable basic tariff in accordance with Telkomsel's policy.

An expired number is a Telkomsel PraBayar (prepaid) number that has exceeded the last day of the grace period. If you don’t top up your credit or purchase a package during the grace period, your number will exceed the last day of the grace period and then expire.
